The Families Learning Conference is coming to the Lone Star State this fall!
Each year, the National Center for Families Learning (NCFL) enlists the country’s family engagement experts to present best practices, strategies, and resources to help families succeed in accomplishing their educational and economic goals.
NCFL is seeking proposals reflecting highly interactive and engaging presentations that include strategies or materials attendees can use right away in their classrooms or programs.
This Call for Proposals closes 11:59 pm PST Friday, February 28, 2020.
Detailed information, including key dates, content strands, selection criteria, and presenter requirements can be found at conference.familieslearning.org/call-for-proposals.
Lead presenters enjoy a variety of perks, including:
- • a discounted Conference registration fee;
- • a speaker profile page on the Conference website and mobile app;
- • the opportunity to highlight their work in front of a national audience; and
- • the chance to enhance their own skills by learning from other experts in our field.
Share best practices from your own community while highlighting your organization to a national audience at the same time. Apply to become a Families Learning Conference presenter!

Thank you for reaching out. I apologize for the delay in responding to your comments. The deadline to present a concurrent session has passed. However, we hope you’ll still join us for some great conversation, idea-sharing, and networking with family engagement folks from around the country this October.
Registration will open later this spring. It will be linked on conference.familieslearning.org and more details about the conference and presentations will be added to the website throughout the year.
